Sharney Rafiq is a Part II architecture graduate, having studied at the Leicester School of Architecture.

In her past experience she has worked on planning schemes in the commercial and industrial sectors as well as bespoke residential and domestic projects. Sharney previously worked at the long-established practice of Louis de Soissons, most known for their work on the masterplanning of Welwyn Garden City in the 1920s. During her time at the practice she worked on the design of contemporary extensions and conversions to historic properties originally designed by the practice. Sharney is a creative thinker and aims to make spaces more functional and attractive to users by focussing on the little details whilst keeping the ultimate user experience in mind.

Outside of work she enjoys arts and crafts and she is interested in interior and furniture design as well as creative textiles and painting using oil and acrylic mediums. She also have a passion for photography and loves to explore new places.
