The Watling Gardens estate development will provide 125 new affordable homes that are modern, carefully designed and energy-efficient across three new blocks. The development will offer a range of communal facilities and will be set within a lush landscape consisting of a range of different spaces offering a variety of experiences and activities.

Health and well-being have been important considerations and the landscape scheme includes play areas for all ages and a multi-use games area for the more active. A number of garden courts are also provided. These are planted with trees, shrubs and flowering perennials and offer opportunities to gather and be sociable or have a quiet moment. The planting is also designed to enhance the biodiversity of the site. The landscape scheme offers many opportunities for interaction and as such will help to create a strong sense of community.
