In 2024, Tim Hortons opened its first restaurant in Kent, specifically at Westwood Cross in Broadstairs. This purpose-built unit features a drive-through lane and a modern design with clean lines and neutral materials. The metal-faced cladding highlights key areas like the entrance, signage zones and the drive-through hatch. Linear textured cladding panels in a neutral cream colour are also incorporated, to frame these points of interest and further add texture and verticality to the design. The restaurant occupies 2,800 sq.ft of floorspace and included parking provision for 22 vehicles including two disabled spaces, three motorcycle spaces and a new sheltered cycle stand to promote the use of sustainable transport.
