We were appointed by RTS Contracts Limited to deliver a brand‑new Next store at Straiton Mains, on the outskirts of Edinburgh. Upon completion, the store became the operator’s largest in Scotland, with a projected annual footfall of 6 million, reinforcing its role as a key retail anchor within the wider development.

Following a successful planning application, secured prior to our appointment, the scope of works included preparing a detailed Revit model, co‑ordinating information from the wider design team, and producing comprehensive construction drawings. Throughout the programme, we closely monitored progress on site, providing timely technical support and resolving design queries to ensure the smooth delivery of the new unit. This collaborative approach enabled the project to be completed on time and on budget, offering Next a high‑quality, future‑proofed retail environment.
